SRM-2M The
SRM-2M provides monitoring of encrypted circuits and automatic resynchronization
of TRANSEC encryption equipment when used in conjunction with framed
data equipment, such as IP routers and ATM switches and concentrators.
It adapts proven technology from DNE's AN/FCC-100 multiplexer and
the ATM TAC family of products to monitor and control encrypted
data communication links, providing optimum link availability with
the data equipment that best suits your networking requirements.
Monitors red side data coming from
the encryption device, and will automatically resynchronize the encryption
device if it detects a loss of synchronization
Has a remote loopback switch which
places the unit into a loopback mode with the remote SRM unit until
the switch is deactivated
Can be configured in pairs with one
unit at each end of the data link
Simple design allows for quick and
easy assessment of signal status without operator intervention
